The affnetz™ Service Ethic has its roots in the life experience of our President Bala Guntipalli. Starting in college and extending over his 25+ year career, Service has been a focal point for Bala. He believes if chambers, associations, non-profits, service clubs, and SMBs thrive, then local communities thrive. If local communities thrive, everyone benefits. He honed his software and business skills experience by working on hundreds of projects for small non-profits to large enterprises such as IBM Corporation, Cox Enterprise companies. Through it all, his passion has always been using his talent for Service. Bala has lived out his passion by devoting thousands of volunteer hours to such organizations as Rotary International. In Rotary and other non-profits, he held multiple roles such as chapter President, Vice president, Grant committee chair, and a wide variety of other roles across the US and internationally. Among the guiding principles of Rotary that had a profound influence on Bala is the “Rotary-Four-Way Test:
  1. Is it the truth?
  2. Is it fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
This simple but deeply insightful perspective contributed to Bala’s inspiration for creating affnetz™.
